At Birch Creek Angus if we can't stand 100% behind our bulls, why should you? We pride ourselves on our 4 Year Guarantee on all our bulls. If you have a problem- we do too! Buying a breeding bull is a big genetic investment for your cowherd and should be treated as such.
WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING GUARANTEE:
We guarantee against any issues with feet, structure, fertility, or even some accidents outside of your control for the original bull purchaser. We guarantee our bulls for standard beef breeding practices and under normal circumstances.
It is the purchaser's requirement to maintain and manage their bull. We want to be the first to hear of any and all issues.
Please contact us in the event you would like to make a claim on your guarantee. Contact needs to be made within 7 days of the discovery of the injury/issue for original purchaser only.
Bulls are guaranteed for the first year 100 %. First year is defined as the day of purchase through 60 days into the first breeding season. Year 2 (75% credit) begins after 60 days of the first breeding season until the FIRST day of the 2nd breeding season. Year 3 (50% credit) begins the 1st day of turnout on the 2nd breeding season until the 1 st day of turnout on the 3 rd breeding season. Year 4 (25% credit) begins the 1st day of the 3 rd breeding season for 60 days. Guarantee is then terminated.
Guarantee does not cover natural disasters or acts of God, such as: earthquakes, fires, floods, etc. Bulls hit by vehicles on roads not covered. (Motorist insurance should cover this). Guarantee is for original purchaser only. Proper nutrition is key to bull longevity. We reserve the right to deny a credit if the
bull is not adequately fed and maintained, or if owner negligence is discovered. Upon death of a bull, original purchaser must notify us within 7 days, and also must immediately have a licensed veterinarian perform a postmortem. Original buyer has 7 days to notify us of an injury or other claim upon discovery.
